People love, love, love to customize their iPods.

BLAST OFF!
Street Fighter!
M.C. Escher, the Dutch artist, was known for his insane drawings that bent the mind and the eyes of the viewer. We’re a huge fan of his work at Etchstar and for a holiday gift last Chrismaka, we gave a close friend (who was a Math Graduate Student) a laser engraved and etched iPod classic featuring one of the most famous pieces by M.C. Escher: “Hand with Reflecting Globe”
What’s awesome about the “Hand with Reflecting Globe,” is the use of math by Escher. The piece shows very clearly, that he educated himself in non-planar reflections (this piece is a self portrait of himself in a waiting room, reflected in a globe).
